　48歲的陳亞蘭經常感到疲倦，日前被診斷出有直徑12公分的子宮肌瘤，已決定下周開刀，她20日錄中視《萬秀豬王》時不願多談病情，笑說：「我要去開雙眼皮啦！」據悉，醫生要她休養１個月，敬業的她堅持只休息兩周。

　適逢鬼月，豬哥亮篤信神佛，拜拜時，特地在供品上插滿中元普度的旗幟，「我從來沒有遇過鬼，因為我禮數周全，如果真給我遇到，我會嚇死。」上周他託兒子到南投慈濟宮拜拜普度。

　談及鬼月禁忌，「以前戲班表演，每到戲院我一定先帶領大家拿掃把把角落都掃過，燒香拜拜燒紙錢，供品沒有少，跟好兄弟溝通溝通，說不好意思打擾了，借用你們的地方賺錢，這些東西你們先拿去吃。」他說人不可鐵齒，「以前有人不信，我們掃地，他在戲院亂吐檳榔，回去就生病。」
