西班牙勞工部周二稱，10月申請失業救濟的人數較去年同期減少22,138人，至481萬。9月為增加87,028，主要受旅遊業季節性波動影響。
西班牙政府此前預計，失業人數在明年降低前不會顯著上漲。
勞工部未提供對該國失業率的預期。據該國統計局上月公佈的數據，西班牙第三季度失業率為26%，在歐元區內僅低於希臘，后者第二季度失業率高達26.3% 。(鐵軍)
