10月第三周，美國初次申請失業金人數減少1.2萬至35萬人，但加州電腦系統重大更新問題，持續扭曲了此一數據

10月第三周，美國初次申請失業金人數減少1.2萬至35萬人，但加州電腦系統重大更新問題，持續扭曲了此一數據。

接受MarketWatch調查的分析師平均預估，10月19日結束的一周，美國初次申請失業金人數將下降至33.7萬人。

美國勞工部周四說，過去四周，平均每周初次申請失業金人數上升10750人至348250人，創7月初以來高點。

三周前，初次申請失業金人數急劇上升至六周高點，主要係因加州電腦系統更新出了問題。數十萬申請失業金資料受到波及，問題較加州官員原先透露的更為嚴重。

最新的申請失業金數據，並不包含政府關門期間，休假的政府員工。他們可根據另外一項規定，申請臨時福利金。

10月12日結束的一周，持續領取失業金人數減少8000人至287萬人。
